The ad relates to Greenwich’s Abbey Wood development, by Development Securities, and targets investors in Hong Kong. According to a spokesperson for the project, buy-to-let investors are sensitive to service charge repercussions for development with social housing, but the wider project does fulfil its affordable housing obligations. It’s a somewhat grand six-bedroom house in Eltham, backing onto the Royal Blackheath golf course, comes with planning permission for extensive further development and it’s where Kate Bush lived between 1985 and 2003. Her brother apparently still lives next door. The house is officially called Wuthering Heights, and there’s a guide price of £2.75m. Particulars here.

London has the 10 most violent local authorities in Britain despite sharp falls in crime over the past decade, a new international study claimed today.

Yeah, in true Orwellian style it's called The UK Peace Index, and it's worth pointing out at this juncture that it's not the actual local authorities that are violent - it's not about marauding councillors - but the boroughs. So, where are the most violent neighbourhoods in the Peace Index?

Lewisham is the most violent place to live in the country, and gets a special mention for its "staggering" levels of public disorder. Lambeth, Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets are the next five most punchy.

The data was suppled by the Home Office and covers a decade. The report comes courtesy of the Institute for Economics and Peace (its other publications include the Global Terrorism Index, no kidding).
