London letting continues to suffer

While the most recent Homelet survey shows a return to growth for the letting sector nationally, the situation in London remains depressed, with seasonal demand failing to push the figure into the black and average rents down 0.6% on the year. This same report last year showed a 6.6% monthly rise.
