Negative outlook according to RICS

The Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors reports the eighth consecutive month of falling enquiries, the average UK property taking 19 weeks to sell and prices predicted to go into a modest decline over the next six months. Vendors are watching the market and thinking hard about whether they really need to move, with a record low of 42 available properties per branch. Brexit uncertainty is named as a major factor, with yesterday’s news presumably doing little to stimulate the market.
