Super-prime buyers demand super-prime discounts

According to Mayfair buying agents Garrington, the cost of shifting your top-end London property to an overseas buyer is approaching £1m, with discounts of 9-12% necessary to overcome Brexit jitters and punitive stamp duty, with deals being done on super-prime, £5m+ properties for as much as 20% below guide price. Friend of R&M, Henry Pryor, is quoted here, pointing out that 65% of Belgravia properties currently on the market remain unsold after more than a year.
